22 Weddings & Events is a full-service Central Texas-based event planning company specializing in weddings, corporate events, non-profit events, and intimate gatherings. Our goal is to plan and execute your vision so you can experience your event stress-free. We focus on both the big picture and tiniest of details so the only thing you have to focus on is enjoying your day!

Hi, I'm Lindsay!
I started my event planning career in 2004 in New York City, planning everything from huge fundraising walks to intimate parties. One of these jobs was as an Event & Program Manager at a free lodging facility for cancer patients and their families. During my time there I met Brad & Gabby. Brad had stomach cancer and they were unable to have the wedding they dreamed of before treatment started. What started as a fun idea turned into a proper ceremony and reception, and began my love of wedding planning! Sadly, Brad passed away later that year. Heartbroken over the loss, I was comforted when a family member said, "You gave them five minutes of wonderful, and that is better than a lifetime of okay." With a desire to bring other couples that "five minutes of wonderful" I launched my as a side hustle in 2016 before officially going full-time in 2022. Since the company's inception we have planned over a hundred events including weddings, non-profit fundraising events, social gatherings and corporate retreats and are ready for a hundred more!

This is Carlton!
Meet Carlton - my best friend and logo inspiration. I chose him to be the mascot of 22 Weddings & Events because first, that face begs to be photographed and second, he represents the mission of this company. Carlton lives in the moment, finds joy in the little things and loves unconditionally. That’s what I hope all the couples I work with will experience on their wedding day. To Carlton, every day is the best day ever - now let’s make your wedding day yours.
A few more things about me
I'm from a small town in Maine, lived in NYC for over a decade, and now I'm back to small town life outside of Austin.

22 has always been my lucky number which is how I chose my business name, but it turned out to be luckier than I even imagined - I got engaged on the 22nd and got married in 2022!

I am really good at ping pong, love a good challenge and can do a spot-on imitation of Snow White, circa the 1937 movie.

My demeanor is relaxed and silly while still being organized and on top of everything. Years of career experience has taught me to keep calm under pressure.

I call my style "things I like" - it ranges from classic & minimalist to bohemian & eclectic.

I don’t believe in the words “have to” and “should” when it comes to weddings and events. It’s your day - let’s do you!

We were a few months away from our wedding, and I was incredibly overwhelmed. Somehow we ended up with 11 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, and about 20 vendors. The Wedding Director at the Four Seasons referred Lindsay to us, and she was by far our greatest wedding gift! Lindsay is an absolute GEM to work with. She's responsive, has such a calm spirit, and is great to have on such a hectic day. She really focused on getting to know us as a couple, and adjusted her approach to suit my very type-A personality and our needs. We had NEVER met before we hired her, and she has now blossomed into a lifelong friend.
